Who's The Birdbrain Here ?

I got this little moron for the DH on our anniversary a month ago.  His name is Admiral, as in Byrd.  If he has any positive attributes ( Admiral, not the DH) they are well hidden.  The little (insert expletive here) has been sitting in one corner of this luxurious and entertaining cage we furnished with every bird toy known to man & bird.  He just sits in his corner & shits. 
What's up with that?  I have had several parakeets in the past and they were very social cuties.  This guy is (insert politically correct term meaning retarded) here.
